Those who do not support the State label people a "statist" and the Tea Party folks also use the same word. They may have two very different meanings.
When a Tea Party or conservative type calls someone a statist, they likely mean that the person thinks government should be very large and involved. Albert Gore, Hitler, Obama, Mao and the Clinton family would be examples.
When a Anti-State advocate calls someone a statist, they mean that the person supports the existence of a State. People that like government (while maybe wanting it to be limited) include Mao, Obama, Reagan, Jefferson, Hitler, Ron & Rand Paul and Mitt Romney (both sides of him).
Comment with further clarification please! :)
